ASDA 01 (Help and Solidarity with Asylum Seekers in Ain) aims to help to the constitution and monitor asylum seekers’ files in the direction of OFPRA (French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons), the CNDA (National Court for the Right of Asylum) and, in general, with any administrative (Prefecture) and judicial (Administrative Court and Administrative Court of Appeal).

At the origin of the association, we find, in 1975, a handful of activists aware of the need to “immigrants”. Then the march of the Beurs in 1983 , helps to federate in Bourg en Bresse, organizations and individuals horizons within the Collective for Equal Rights and Against Racism. After 1989, migrants arrived from Eastern European countries, the reception facilities were overflowing, families were on the street, they had to be helped. Then the state partially disengaged from administrative assistance to migrants. Associations must take over, and this is how ASDA 01 was born in 2005.

ASDA 01 is on duty without an appointment every Tuesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at 2 rue Largillière in Bourg en Bresse. Asylum seekers are welcomed by volunteers, including several interpreters.

Contact : 04 74 21 86 34 Tuesday and Friday mornings and 07 49 33 59 for the emergencies.
